Week 4 - Theme: Domestic

My image for The Divine Diptych Project - http://divinediptychproject.blogspot.com/

I had the theme “Domestic” this week. I really struggled with the idea of doing a picture around this theme as I cannot stand women being pigeonholed…and still even with my defiant chaotic image of the ‘not so perfect’ woman in the kitchen…I have still succumbed to the image of a woman in the kitchen.

Thekla - Ellie Goulding

Photographed the gig at the Thekla the other night, thanks to my mate Matt. Here's me testing out the new camera and Matt's stonking 'L' lenses.

Smile

Went to the Aquarium with my friend Anna, only got this image before my camera battery died. Such is life! I like it because the jellyfish looks like it's smiling.

extra mask images

Brecon Beacons

I will most likely annoy you with all the posts from the Brecon Beacons now as I fell in love with the place.

Diptych Project

I'm one of many lovely ladies taking part in a Diptych Project.

http://divinediptychproject.blogspot.com/ <-- Check it out here Here's my entry to Week 3 - Theme: Mask

I was paired with the lovely Lena . We only discussed what orientation the photo would be and whether in colour or b & w. I did my shot on Friday and sent it to Lena an hour before I left for the Brecon Beacons, so I really hoped my image would get to her alright!!

Brecon Beacons

I'm back from the Brecon Beacons. The weather was on the horrendous side, but I still managed to go up Pen Y Fan and around to Llyn y Fan Fach. I will update with more photos soon. For now here's a picture of the Afon Taf Fechan and a mist covering Pen Y Fan / Corn Du

Welcome

Yes, I've finally properly started a 'photography blog'. Hopefully I can keep it up! ...though I might get to the point of just posting the pictures rather than writing...and i may transfer this to my website eventually...already sounding promising isn't it?
