Week 7 - Pre-Raphaelite

The theme for this week with Bronwen Hyde was Pre-Raphaelite. It wasnt an easy one to work on as it's an art movement. I took some inspiration from Flaming June by Lord Frederic Leighton and Proserpine by Dante Gabriel Rossetti to create my image.

The inspiration for my image was referencing Pre-Raphaelite themes, such as the idolization and sexualization of women, red hair, religious undertone imagery through the fruit and rich tones on a plain backdrop.

Divine Diptych - Week 5 Outtakes

I have great friends. They let me dress them up like prostitutes, in shoes too small, drag them to the centre of the city and stand for ages in the cold...on cobblestone :)

Here's a couple outtakes
